CUTEK® is improving their Colortone product to ensure you receive the best results, therefore Colortone cans have now changed to Colortone tubes. Due to our inventory, you may still receive a can. However, all Colortones will be produced in tubes going forward.
CUTEK® Extreme is sold clear, which allows the wood to age gracefully into a beautiful silver patina on exposure to sunlight. However, if you’d like to retain the natural freshly oiled color of the wood you’re working with, you can simply add a Colortone to the clear oil. Choose one of our Colortones which have been specifically developed to closely match many popular wood species. For best results, select a Colortone that stays close to the natural shade of the wood species being coated. To get an idea of what a colortone may look like on a wood species Thermory does not offer, please refer to the CUTEK® Colortone Specs.

The final color on your project may vary from what is show here due to: Differences in monitor and printer calibrations; Effects of the natural wood colour and texture as CUTEK® Colortone is transparent. It is important to not only test your CUTEK® trial size, but you also need to test on a small area of your project for proper color before applying to the entire project.
